I shared my journey with bipolar disorder and with addiction – including the ups and the downs (there were a lot of downs) and how it ultimately led to the founding of my company, SG Real Estate.
Starting a business is incredibly difficult – but believing in yourself, believing that you can do something as difficult as starting a business entirely from scratch, is where the real power lies.
We also spoke about the value of professional help, which can be exceptionally valuable in unlocking our ability to believe in ourselves. The idea that professional help is for “sad people” is an idea held your own peril. Find a therapist, find a mentor, find a coach – find somebody who can light the path for you.
